Originally started as a device reliability analysis laboratory, GPS has continued to branch out in the area of electronic solution manufacturing, specifically oriented to custom application design. Today GPS serves Customers all over the world with the semiconductor branch, in charge of a complete line of power diodes and thyristors and with the solution-oriented branch, focused on the GPS broad line of power modules for a variety of end applications: motor drives, electroplating power supplies, power conditioning and so on, for different environments like steel milling, mining, oil and gas, paper milling, etc.
GPS is well taken care in the selection and training of its human resources or of all personnel involved in work affecting product quality.
GPS has among its objectives to adopt and maintain adequate infrastructure to make products and services in accordance with the requirements.
Once a year the direction carry out a review of the quality system with the participation of the representative of the Executive Board and head of engineering.
Over the years, some important product families have been added, such as the “Open Assembly” and the GEM modules. Green Power Solutions, with its product range, now serves customers in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa. In fact, thanks to the completeness of the commercial offer in the specific field of power electronics, it is perceived as a Supplier able to serve the Customer’s needs at different levels, from design to supply of loose components or complete solutions.
In 2004, Green Power Solutions participated in the foundation of OCSALM Special Wires and Leads Srl, a company that, with the acquisition of the O.C.S.A.L.M. Srl, serves worldwide the major manufacturers of active and passive components of power.
In 2010 the production lines of Green Power Solutions have been moved by the establishment of Genoa to Volpiano (To), home OCSALM Special Wires and Leads Srl.
GPS implements a Quality Management System based on ISO9001 Standard.
Within September 2018 the Quality System will be upgraded to comply with the 2015 Edition of ISO9001.
